Piccola Italia is home to the best Pizza, best Italian food, best salads, best soups, and best desserts in Raleigh, NC. Every meal we get free bread and the service is always outstanding. We have been eating here for nearly 30 years and every time it gets better. The owner is still there every day working his heart out to provide for his customers. Cameron Village is so convenient for us. Such a beautiful area and Piccola has such a beautiful patio and local atmosphere. This is truly first class dining. If you haven't tried it yet, you're certainly missing out. From the homemade Italian Dressing, the homemade Tiramisu, and all the homemade sauces and pastas I just cant get enough! This place is a gem in Raleigh. My boyfriend and I went here because he LOVES Italian food. We fell in love with the place. The prices are great, and the food is AMAZING. The owner actually helps by working hard and makes rounds to make sure all customers are taken care of. The whole experience was great. We couldn't wait to bring his parents. So we went again and the pizza was the best! Thank you to everyone who has made our visits wonderful - we will for sure be back and tell everyone about it!
Some of the best Italian food in NC. I admit, my husband and I are picky when it comes to good pizza, sauce and pasta dishes (he was raised in NY) but this place consistently blows us away. The eggplant parm dinner is excellent and the portions are so huge I have to box half for later. Their garlic cheese knots as an app are always amazing, too. Nice atmosphere both inside or on their patio. My only regret is they are closed on Sundays.
